Bio

Adele Herman joined the Clarke University Women's Soccer coaching staff in 2024. With 10 years of youth academy coaching experience, Herman focuses on a developmental first approach to soccer. Working primarily with the reserve women's team, she is excited to bridge the gap from high school to college athletics for players.

Originally from Rochester, Minnesota, Herman has spent the last eight years in Dubuque coaching with Dubuque Soccer Club and is currently the head coach for the U13/14 Girls. Prior to moving to Iowa, Herman began coaching in the Rochester Public School District and Rochester Youth Soccer Association, now Minnesota Rush. She graduated from Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Art + Design and Journalism in 2014. Herman holds a United States Soccer Federation D License as of 2022.

Beyond coaching, Herman is a self-employed graphic designer and marketing professional working exclusively with small businesses and non-profits. Additionally, Herman is the co-founder of local non-profit She Unites, which provides educational and recreational opportunities for women in the Tri-State region.
