Bio

Elena Dominguez joined the Clarke women's lacrosse coaching staff in the summer of 2023, joining the staff while still maintaining her role in the university's institutional advancement office.

Having graduated from Clarke with an undergraduate degree in 2020 and a Master's in Social Work in 2021, Elena's academic journey has been closely intertwined with the university's mission.

Elena was not only a dedicated student but also a standout on the lacrosse field as she appeared in nine games over three seasons from 2018 to 2020 as a defensive player, scoring a goal while adding six ground balls and four caused turnovers. 

Now, as a First Season Assistant Coach, Elena has the opportunity to translate her on-field experiences into coaching insights, contributing to the team's growth and success both on and off the field. 

Beyond her lacrosse involvement, Elena is a true Dubuquer at heart. Born and raised in the city, she remains deeply committed to both the Clarke and Dubuque communities. Her active engagement in community initiatives, coupled with her full-time role as the Associate Director of Annual Fund and Alumni Relations at Clarke, speaks volumes about her dedication to fostering lasting connections.
