Pride golf wraps up fall competition at Heart Preview

RAYMORE, Mo. - In their final competition of the fall, the Clarke University men's and women's golf teams each finished up play at the Heart Conference Preview that took play on Monday and Tuesday at The Golf Course at Creekmoor. 

The Pride men finished in ninth place out of the nine participating teams as the women finished in 12th place out of 12 teams in their respective tournaments.

On the women's side, Lilia Lindgren finished with the top two-round score for CU with a 215 after shooting 105 and 110 on Monday and Tuesday respectively. Gabby Weyland (220/107-113), MacKenzie Saylor (228/118-110), and Gracie Lange (230/115-115) rounded out the Clarke scores for the two-day tournament.

For the men, Kade Salemi posted the top mark of 155 with a 77 on Monday and a 78 on Tuesday to tie for 28th place. Ben Baker (167/89-78), Alex McLeland (177/90-87), Francis Resurreccion (179/95-84) rounded out the top four scores at the end of day two for the Pride. Justin Everson shot an 80 in Monday's opening round but was unable to finish the second round on Tuesday and withdrew. 

Clarke golf will head into the winter as they will prep for the spring season, that will likely being in March for both the men and women.
