Caitlin Beer is beginning her first year as the graduate assistant for track and field as well as cross country. Beer graduated from the University of Iowa in 2016 with a pair of degrees in both social work and child life. Currently, Beer is enrolled in the Master of Social Work program.

A Dubuque, Iowa native, Beer has a competitive background in dance and was a dancer for a total of 18 years. In between taking her rescue dog Herky on many walks, Beer and her husband love spending time with friends and family.
