Pride avoid sweep but fall in four to No. 12 Grand View

DUBUQUE, Iowa - A quick return home to the Kehl Center to host the defending NAIA Champions, the Clarke University men's volleyball team fell by a 3-1 final score to Grand View University on Tuesday night.

Taking a set off of the Vikings at home for the second-straight year, the Pride fell down 2-0 after the first two sets of 25-20 and 25-15 before running away with a third set victory 25-19, GVU earned the fourth set win by the same score on the reverse side of the floor to close out the match.

Clarke hit for an over .300 in two of the fours sets, Grand View started the match with a .571 hitting percentage in the first to outshine CU's .360 and the Pride would go negative and an even .000 in the second and fourth as the Vikings would take advantage in those sets.
