Pride open road trip with three-set loss to Missouri Baptist

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - In their first of back-to-back matches in St. Louis, the Clarke University men's volleyball team dropped their match at Missouri Baptist University 3-0 to the Spartans on Friday night.

MBU earned set wins by scores of 25-15, 25-23, and 25-8 to earn the sweep after hitting for a .351 percentage compared to CU's .000 final hitting percentage.

Miljan Kastratovic finished with a match-high 15 kills as the only player on either side to finish with double digit kills as he also committed eight errors for a .233 hitting percentage.

Michael Jenkins led the way for the pride with five kills as Zachary Barr and Stephen Lewandowski each had three kills apiece in the middle.

Clarke men's volleyball will stay in the gateway city to face University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Saturday morning for an 11:00 a.m. CT first serve against the Eutectics.
