Bio

Kaitlyn Wilder joins the Clarke track and field coaching staff in the winter of 2025 to lead the throws group as part of Bradley Johnson's staff.

Wilder joins the Pride staff after competing as a member of the University of Dubuque track and field team for five seasons from 2019-20 to 2023-24 as a thrower for the Spartans. An 11-time All-American for UD, Wilder's list of accomplishments while throwing for the Spartans is as follows: 

  • 3x School Record Holder (Shot Put, Hammer Throw, Weight Throw)
  • 2x Conference Record (Shot Put, Weight Throw)
  • USTFCCA All-Central Region
  • USTFCCA – Midwest Field Athlete of the Year
  • USTFCCA - Athlete of the Week
  • 14x NCAA National Qualifier
  • A-R-C 2024 Women’s Outdoor Field MVP
  • NCAA National Champion – Weight Throw
  • 16th All-Time NCAA DIII Hammer Throw (58.98m)
  • 24th All-Time NCAA DIII Shot Put (15.09m)

While competing and obtaining her Bachelor of Exercise Science, Wilder also assisted UD with recruiting and also assisted five different athletic teams at the school for a strength and conditioning internship to provide lifting plans and lead team warmup and stretching. She also held a position at FASST Track as a program coordinator and coach producing marketing fliers, creating practice plans and programming strength and conditioning for athletes, and managed social media accounts to promote events.

Originally a Dunkerton, Iowa native, Wilder is continuing to pursue a Masters in Diversity and Inclusion Leadership at UD while assisting the Pride track and field team.
