To the game action, Clarke was able to break through with their first goal in the 18th minute after earning a corner kick where Jose Gomez found a leaping Enrique Horna, who headed the ball into the back of the net to make it 1-0 Pride.

A 2-0 halftime lead would be provided by Hector Medrano who buried a rebound off of a strong shot from Luke Persenico that was saved by PU keeper Elias Eichhorn but right at Medrano who made it a two-goal lead for CU in the 32nd minute.

That lead would remain for the majority of the second half before another set piece would lead to another header finish, this time from Nearco Zamorano for his second goal of the year as Kevin Klos sent in the set piece ball for the first assist of the season from the midfielder.
