Cole earns second-straight All-Conference honor as 2023 Second Team All-Heart selection

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - In their first season in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, Clarke University men's lacrosse attacker Conner Cole has not technically gone back-to-back but received his second-straight All-Conference honor as the Heart named the CU senior to the Second Team All-Conference Attacker.

In the 2022 season Cole was named All Conference by the KCAC, making this his second time in as many season to be on the All Conference team in the conference the Pride were competing in.

For 2023, Cole finished with 28 goals and 11 assists for a nine-game total of 39 points while being out due to injury for three of the Pride's 12 games but still leading the team in all three of those stat categories.

Those 28 goals came up two shy of his previously set season goal total of 30 set in the 2022 season as Cole also came within two goals of tying the program's career mark for finding the back of the net as he would have likely surpassed the 60-goal total in just two seasons had he avoided injury this season.

The 2023 season was Cole's final in a Clarke University as he graduates with fellow seniors Alec Kolander and Tucker Aeschliman for the Pride to be retaining a majority of their roster that went 3-9 this season, a new program best for wins in a season.
