Kolander gets a goal and an assist in season finale loss to Benedictine College

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The season finale for the Clarke University men's lacrosse team didn't go the way of the Pride as they were outscored 10-0 in the first half on their way to a 21-5 defeat.

Trailing 11-0 in the third quarter, Clarke would get on the board with 6:37 left, as freshman Josh Munoz scored his second goal of the season off the feed from Justyse White. Just over a minute later, the Pride would score again, this time it was senior Nick Lindsay from Alec Kolander.

The Ravens would go on another run, this time it would be nine unanswered goals into the fourth quarter before White would score twice in a row for his sixth and seventh on the year. Finishing up the scoring for the Pride was Kolander, who scored with 23 seconds left in the game.

White, finishing the day with three points was the offensive leader for the Pride and finishes the season tied for third on the team in goals scored. White also finishes the year with eight assists, good for second on the team behind Conner Cole's 11.

In only nine games played, Cole finished the year with 39 points as he scored 28 goals to go along with those 11 assists.

Starting in net all twelve games for the Pride, Freshman Jack Fritz made 13 saves tonight, while seeing 34 shots.

Starting in goal tonight for Benedictine was Jerry Dalrymple who secured his third win of the year, making 10 saves, while facing 15 shots.

Senior Jordan Rodriguez led the scoring attack for the Ravens as he scored five goals and assisted on two for a seven-point day. Mac Postel Jr. and Joey Calabria each scored four goals apiece as Postel Jr. also finished with seven points as he assisted on three goals.

First-year Head Coach Tucker La Belle and the Pride men's lacrosse team finished the year 3-9 and will continue to grow his program as they look towards 2024.
