Bio

Brandon Schwebke is in his fourth season as Clarke University’s assistant men’s basketball coach and was named the head coach for men's golf in the summer of 2023 after three seasons as the head women’s golf coach. 

A native of Belvidere, Ill., Schwebke came to Clarke from Emporia State University (NCAA DII) where he served as assistant men’s basketball coach under Craig Doty. Schwebke also played for Doty at Rock Valley College in 2012-13. He earned second team NJCAA All-American accolades and helped lead the program to just its second NJCAA National Tournament in 48 years, paving the way for RVC to win two of the next three national championships.

Schwebke finished his playing career at Elmhurst College (IL) where he helped lead the program to two NCAA Division III national tournaments, a No. 2 national ranking and a 42-15 overall record in two seasons.

Prior to his coaching stint at Emporia State, Schwebke spent three years as assistant men’s basketball coach at Dordt University (NAIA) in Sioux Center, Iowa.  Schwebke helped led the 2018-19 Defenders to a 19-13 overall record.

Schwebke has been active in Midwest Elite Basketball since 2015, directing over 50 camps for high school programs across the 12-state Midwest region.

Schwebke received his associate of arts degree from Rock Valley College, his bachelor of arts degree in business administration from Elmhurst College and his master of education degree in sports leadership from Dordt University.
