Bio

Treston Womack joins the Clarke football coaching staff in the spring of 2023 as the wide receivers coach on head coach Adam Hicks' staff.

Womack joins the Pride from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis. where he worked as the receivers and returners coach during the 2022 season. At Carthage, Womack was assisted in offensive game planning for the passing game, ran positional meetings, and assisted in video editing and breakdown.

Prior to his time at Carthage, Womack's first collegiate coaching job was at College of DuPage in Elgin, Ill. as the run game coordinator, running backs coach, and returners coach as he was on a staff they earned the 2021 NJCAA National Championship. His weekly responsibilities included installation of their running game as well as game planning as College of DuPage finished the 2021 season with the NJCAA's best running attack at 209.9 rushing yards per game and 6.1 rush yards per carry.

As a player, Womack was a running back for Elmhurst University where he was a three-year letterwinner, finishing his career with 407 yards from scrimmage (356 rushing, 51 receiving), two rushing touchdowns, and 505 total yards on kick returns as he averaged over 19 yards per return and over 47 return yards per game as a senior.

Womack earned a Bachelor's of Education in Physical Education with minors in History and Coaching from Elmhurst and his Master's of Education in Sports Leadership from Carthage.
