Sully Adams joined the Clarke University Athletics Administration staff as the Athletics Compliance Coordinator in the summer prior to the 2023-24 academic year.

Adams returns to Clarke after earning his Master of Science Degree in Recreation sport and Tourism with an emphasis in Sport Management at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the spring of 2023 while serving as an event management graduate assistant within the athletic department for the Fighting Illini.

While at Illinois, Adams served various roles including but not limited to overseeing operations of football games, wrestling meets, and indoor/outdoor track and field meets, creating visitor's guides for teams, planning hospitality and catering for events, assisted in planning and operating the 2023 Big Ten Softball Tournament then directed and assisted the operations of the 2022 IHSA Football State Championships.

Part of his graduate assistantship included working operations of the Atkins Tennis Center where Adams conducted set up, communication with officials, music operation, video board operation, and volunteer training for their NCAA tennis matches as he also served a supporting role in the 2022 NCAA Division I Tennis National Championship.

Adams is returning to the Pride after earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Sport Management and Business Administration from CU in 2021 while being a member of the Clarke track and field team and working as an athletics administration student intern from 2019 to 2021.
