Bio

Cedar Rapids, Iowa native Casey Tauber came to Clarke in 2001 from Christopher Newport University, Newport News, Va., where he served five years as assistant baseball coach.

Tauber spent two years as the head baseball coach at Cedar Rapids Prairie High School, and served five years as assistant baseball coach at Cedar Rapids Washington High School. Washington's 1994 team won the Class 4A state championship.

A 2002 inductee into the Mount Mercy College Athletic Hall of fame, Tauber broke 21 school baseball records, including most career wins. Thirteen of those records still stand.

Tauber received his bachelor of arts degree in business administration from Mount Mercy in 1994, and his masters degreee in athletic administration from the United States Sports Academy in 2001.

Casey and his wife, Karen, have two children, Derek and Ruth.
