Pride Fall Athletes Earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - With the final fall 2023 NAIA Championship to be competed for this weekend, the national office released the final group of Daktronics Scholar-Athletes on Thursday with Clarke University Athletics having a total of 52 student-athletes earn the honor this year.

The fall sports represented at Clarke include cross country (men's and women's), football, soccer (men's and women's), and women's volleyball as the 52 fall 2023 Scholar-Athletes is an increase from the 40 that earned the honor in the previous year's edition.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
