Malarie Huseman has been named the female athlete of the month for March 2024. The Pitcher finished with a 2.63 ERA in March while striking out 41 opposing hitters in 9 games averaging just about 5 strikeouts per appearance. On the offensive side, Malarie has also helped the Pride with 6 RBIs over 41 plate appearances. The Pride Softball team sits at 9-13 overall and 1-7 in conference. With 22 games left in the season, all of which are in April, the Pride look to string some wins together with hopes of making the conference tournament. The Pride’s next game is a doubleheader on April 6th, 2024, against Baker. Game times are scheduled at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm at Veterans Memorial Park.
