Mia Losee has been voted on by the Clarke Community as the Pride Female Athlete of the Week for the athletic week that started on Monday, Dec. 1 and wrapped up on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Losee received 40 percent of the vote in the poll sent out to Clarke's campus for her performance last week in the Clarke women's bowling team's final tournament of the fall 2025 portion of their schedule at the Warhawk Open.

Losee earned her first career collegiate tournament victory and her third All-Tournament Team honor over the first half of the Pride bowling season with a first place 976 pin total for a 195.2 pins per game average on Saturday's individual portion of the event.

On Sunday, CU was able to finish in seventh place in the team standings to qualify for bracket play and head-to-head match play where they went up against Judson University in the first round to earn a two games to one win in the best of three matchup with the scores going 202-193, 171-186, and 145-127.

In the next round, the Pride matched up against Marian University (WI) as the two teams split the first two games 175-140 for MU then 178-157 for Clarke before the Sabres finished off the match with a 162-144 game three to eliminate CU in the semifinals.

Losee and the Pride women's bowling team heads into winter break after a strong 2025 part of their 2025-26 schedule with their first tournament back will take place in Addison, Ill. when they compete in the KEGAL/ISBPA Collegiate Classic.
