Soccer, Softball
Whitney Smith-Bringolf was a four-year letterwinner in softball and a three-year letterwinner in soccer for the Crusaders.
As a member of Clarke's softball program, the native of Bettendorf, Iowa earned Midwest Classic Conference All-Conference honors in 1994 and 1995, and NIIC All-Conference honors in 1997. The two-time team captain was voted team MVP in 1995 and 1997, and was the recipient of the squad's Hustle Award in 1994 and 1995.
In soccer, Smith-Bringolf was named the Crusaders' MVP in 1994-95 and earned Midwest Classic Conference All-Conference honors in 1995. During her career, she earned the Hustle Award (93-94), Golden Boot Award (95-96) and the Coaches Award (96-97).
Smith-Bringolf was named the 1997 recipient of Clarke's Senior Female Athlete of the Year Award.
Smith-Bringolf received her bachelor of arts degree in communication (advertising/public relations) in 1997. She is currently employed as a communication facilitator at Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency.
Whitney and her wife, Beth Bringolf, have three children, twins Madeline and Brinnan, and Brody.
