LoVerde also picked up one varsity letter in basketball.

In her Hall of Fame induction letter LoVerde said "I enjoyed my academic and athletic experiences at Clarke a great deal. I had some amazing teachers and coaches, and have made lasting friendships from my time at Clarke. I am grateful to Clarke for so many experiences and lasting memories.  One of my most memorable experiences at Clarke was playing tennis for a year. I am grateful to Rick Arrington for convincing me to play a year of tennis. I learned so much and enjoyed the experience of competing in a sport I had never played before. I think it was my competitive spirit as well as Arrington's expertise in coaching that made me improve so much in so little time, and win conference at the number five spot on the team. I would also like to thank Chris Miron for allowing me to assist the women's volleyball program for a year. I learned a great deal from him and continue coaching volleyball to this day. And lastly, I would like to thank my parents for supporting me throughout my life. They have been to countless games, and have been my number one fans. I couldn't have gotten to where I am today without their love and support."

The 2005 Senior Female Athlete of the Year Award winner received bachelor of arts degrees in secondary education, mathematics and kinesiology in 2005. She received her master of science degree in teaching mathematics at the secondary level from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  LoVerde is currently a mathematics teacher and assistant volleyball coach at Reavis High School in Burbank, Illinois.
