Dubuque, Iowa native Melissa (Krawczuk) Myers was a three-year member of Clarke’s women’s tennis program.  Myers and her teammates won three consecutive Northern Illinois – Iowa Conference championships, winning league titles in 1998, 1999 and 2000.

A 2000 graduate of Clarke, Myers finished her career with an overall record of 74-22.  She compiled a 30-11 mark in singles play and was 44-11 in doubles.  Myers’ posted a 41-4 record in conference matches.  She won five conference titles – two in singles and three in doubles.

Myers is a graduate of Dubuque Senior High School, where she competed in tennis, volleyball, and downhill skiing. 

Myers and her husband, Eric, helped the city of Loveland, Colo., solidify a $500,000 Safe Routes to School grant from the Colorado Department of Transportation of finish the sidewalk – Gavin’s Sidewalk – where their son, Gavin, was struck and killed by a drunk driver.  The sidewalk will improve the safety and soundness for pedestrians of all ages and disabilities for years to come.

Melissa and Eric are the parents of Ashley Krawczuk, Gavin Myers and Kaden Myers.

The daughter of Wally and Marge Krawczuk, Myers received her bachelor of arts degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing.  She has been employed by Factual Data since 2006.
