Seneca, Ill., native Megan Koppenhoefer, came to Clarke from Seneca High School and left her mark on Crusader Athletics. Koppenhoefer was a three-sport standout at Clarke, competing in basketball, softball and volleyball.

A two-time all-conference basketball selection, Koppenhoefer was a member of three NIIC conference championship teams. She was named a pre-season honorable mention All-American by Division III News as a junior and was also tabbed as the publication's NIIC Player of the Year.
Koppenhoefer ranks second in both career assists (370) and steals (231), and ranks seventh on the university's all-time rebounding chart with 565 rebounds. She is the career co-leader in assists, averaging 4.2 assists per game.

As a member of Clarke's softball program, Koppenhoefer twice garnered first-team All-Conference honors and helped lead the Crusaders to the 1999 conference title. She earned honorable mention All-Conference honors in 2000 and was named Clarke's co-MVP in 2001.

Koppenhoefer owns single-season records for highest batting average (.472) and slugging percentage (.741). She is the co-leader in career triples with 15 and ranks second in career batting average (.398) and slugging percentage (.604), third in doubles (33) and total bases (238), fourth in RBIs (100) and fifth in hits (157).

Koppenhoefer ranks among the Top 10 in several volleyball statistical categories at Clarke, including kills, service aces, block assists, total blocks and points.

Koppenhoefer was named the recipient of the Top Newcomer Award in all three sports as a freshman and was the 2001 recipient of the Ed Colbert Athletics Career Achievement Award.

Megan received her bachelor of science degree in human health science and her master of science degree in physical therapy, and is the director of Rehab Services at Mercy Hospital in Miami, Florida.
