Jon Cochrane, of Lakeville, Minn., was a four-time Northern Illinois – Iowa Conference (NIIC) All-Conference golf performer and a two-time NIIC Player of the Year.  He was a member of three NIIC team championships teams and two tournament championship teams.

A three-time most valuable player, Cochrane captured medalist honors at the 1999-2000 NIIC championship. He was a three-time tournament medalist, two-time conference MVP, and posted the low score in Division III competition five times. Cochrane was conference co-MVP as a senior.

Cochrane and his teammates bettered the school low team scoring record on three occasions and ranked in the Division III Top 30 during the 1999-2000 season.

Cochrane qualified for the 1999 Collegiate Players Tour National Championship in Euless, Texas, and for the 2007 USGA Public Links National Championship.

In his Hall of Fame induction letter, Cochrane said "The key to my success was a solid support system made up of great teammates, great friends, a great coach and a great family. I was a good golfer surrounded by great people who made my four years at Clarke a fantastic experience."

Cochrane received his bachelor of arts degree in art education in 2001 and his master's degree in communication from Bethel University, St. Paul.  He is currently an art teacher at Lakeville North High School.

Jon and his wife, Jill, have two children, Chloe and Alexa.
