A native of Marrero, La., Jaron Warner was a three-time team most valuable player and a three-time Northern Illinois – Iowa Conference (NIIC) All-Conference selection as a member of Clarke's basketball program. A 1995 graduate of John Ehret High School, Warner made his way to Clarke after one year at Louisiana Tech.

Warner was named a D3Hoops.com honorable mention All-American after his senior season as a Crusader and was cited as the NIIC Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Year. He led all conference scorers that season, averaging 27.3 points per game in NIIC play.

In the final home game of his collegiate career, Warner scored a school-record 52 points to lead Clarke to an 89-82 double-overtime win over Rockford College. He scored 15 of the Crusaders' 17 points in the second overtime. For the contest, Warner shot 60 percent (15-25) from the field, 57.1 percent (4-7) from the beyond the three-point arc, and 90 percent (18-20) from the charity stripe. His 52-point outburst was an NCAA Division III best that winter and still ranks as Clarke's single-game scoring record.

Warner finished his career as Clarke's second all-time leading scorer with 1,685 points. He currently ranks second in career field goals made (610), third in scoring in scoring and three-point field goals made (165), fourth in scoring average (18.9) and fifth in free throws made (300). His 23.3 scoring clip as a senior ranks second on the college's single-season record chart.

Warner was the 2000 recipient of the Ed Colbert Athletics Career Achievement Award.

Warner has served as a claims and risk analyst at Red Door Spa Holdings since 2005.

Jaron and his wife, Kia, have one daughter, Jaylah.
