Elizabeth Constantini, of Hurley, Wis., was a 12-time varsity letterwinner at Clarke while competing in alpine skiing, softball and volleyball.
As a member of Clarke's alpine skiing squad, Constantini was a member four Midwest Collegiate Conference Ski Association Chicago Division championship teams. The four-time MVP and three-time team captain was an individual qualifier for the United States Collegiate Ski Association National Finals in 1997.
Constantini was a three-time Northern Illinois- Iowa Conference (NIIC) All-Conference softball selection and a three-time recipient of the Crusaders' Most Valuable Player Award. She played on NIIC conference championship teams in 1997 and 1999, and was cited as the league Player of the Year in 1999. Constantini twice earned the squad's Best Defensive Player Award. The two-time team captain was cited as the Crusaders' most improved player in 1997.
Constantini still holds single season marks in both home runs (10) and RBIs (41), and her .683 slugging percentage in 1996 ranks second all-time. A .350 career hitter, Constantini owns career marks in both home runs (18) and RBIs (129). She ranks third in career slugging percentage (.602), fourth in total bases (225) and seventh in doubles (26).
As a member of the volleyball program, Constantini was a three-time recipient of the Most Improved Player Award.
Constantini competed in baseball, basketball, skiing, softball, tennis and volleyball at Hurley High School.
Constantini graduated Magna Cum Laude and received a bachelor of arts degree in history. She currently serves as retail manager at A. Constantini, Inc.
