A native of Rockford, Ill., Kohr came to Clarke in 2000 after graduating from Boylan Central Catholic High School, where she participated in soccer.

In completing her Hall of Fame questionnaire, Kohr said “When considering what college to attend I was not going to play soccer because I felt it would be too much to handle. I am so glad that I made the decision to play!!! I met some amazing people, played some of the best soccer of my life, and had so much fun!!! I met some wonderful people at Clarke, and I am very grateful for the opportunities and experiences I was able to have.”

Kohr received her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Clarke and was a member of the 2004 Dean’s List.

Following her graduation, Kohr worked as a counselor in an adolescent inpatient addiction treatment facility in Rockford, as a case manager in an adult outpatient addiction treatment facility in Joliet, Ill., and in the education area in Deforest, Wisconsin.  She is currently a stay at home mom.

Elaina and her husband, Jay, reside in Cottage Grove, Wis., with their two children, Brooklyn and Tommie.
