Jacob Boresch
Men's Bowling ‘14
Jacob Boresch was one of the original members of the Clarke University bowling teams as the Tremper High School product came to Clarke to participate in both bowling and baseball for the Pride.
A four-year letterwinner during his time at Clarke, Boresch was a multi-time MCC All-Conference selection as he placed third at the MCC Championships as a senior in the 2013-14 season where he averaged a 222 pins per game during the championships as he always had a strong showing at the MCC Tournament as an All-Tournament selection in three of his four years.
He earned MCC Academic All-Conference in all three years he was eligible, also earned NCBCA Academic All-America as a freshman, was the MCC Champion of Character, and the Clarke Team MVP during his career. In his junior season, he finished 47th of 171 competitors in his respective division at the Team USA Trials and was an X-Bowling Intercollegiate Singles Championships qualifier.
Following his graduation from Clarke in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics, Boresch went on to work for S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. and also recently earned his M.S. in Data Science from Northwestern University in 2021.
The Kenosha, Wis. Native wants the Clarke Community to remember him for helping kickstart the Clarke bowling program and leading Clarke to its first ever appearance in a national championship at the Intercollegiate Team Championships in 2014.
