One of the best middle blockers in the history of Clarke women’s volleyball, Elle Kosciuk will join Clarke University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023.

By the time her career was over, Kosciuk racked up numerous honors including 2014 Ed Colbert Career Achievement Award, 2013 Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Honorable Mention All-American, AVCA NAIA Honorable Mention All-American, AVCA NAIA All-Midwest Region, and a 3-time MCC All-Conference selection (2012-14).

Kosciuk currently ranks 7th in Clarke women’s volleyball history in career kills (1,146), third attack percentage (.278), sixth service aces (158), eighth in solo blocks (98), first in block assists (386), second in total blocks (484), seventh in blocks per set (1.06), and fifth in total points (1,595).

Her All-American 2013 season saw her have the third-best hitting percentage in a season at .310, the second-best block assists total at 145, the sixth best total block amount at 167, and the seventh-best blocks per set average at 1.34.

Following her graduation from Clarke in 2015 with her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training with a Minor in Biology and a Coaching Endorsement, Kosciuk worked as an athletic trainer at Thedacare Regional Medical Center as a high school and middle school athletic trainer in Shawano, Wis.

Then in 2017, Kosciuk returned to Clarke to serve as the assistant coach for Pride women’s volleyball before taking over as the head men’s volleyball coach in 2019 for the 2020 season where she is entering her fifth season lead Pride men’s volleyball.

Kosciuk hopes the Clarke Community will remember the amount of love she has for the university. Clarke has gifted her immensely with the life she has today from teammates turned to sisters, classmates turned to roommates and best friends, coaches turned into mentors, and players turned into true pals.
